Ms. Mira Rani Das, the visionary Founder of Nari Unnayan Foundation, is a dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment and gender equality in Bangladesh. With years of grassroots experience, she has led initiatives that uplift marginalized women-focusing on education, livelihood skills, disability rights, SRHR awareness, gender-based violence prevention, Climate Action and socio-economic inclusion.

Her leadership has expanded opportunities for rural and urban-poor women through vocational training, entrepreneurship support, legal rights education, and community mobilization. Ms. Das is widely recognized for her commitment to creating safe spaces where women and adolescent girls can learn, lead, and thrive.
