NUF Governing Board

The NUF Executive Body is responsible to govern the development activities of the organization. All the policies of Executive Body are implemented by modest staff headed by Executive Director who is responsible for overall program implementation and management. 

The design and delivery system of NUF are flexible, autonomous and open. Moreover, NUF is featured by well-planned and well-implemented schedule of activities, carefully recruited staff, stares on supervision and monitoring NUF maintains frequent project spot visits by the supervisory staff, sound performance appraisal, relative area and minimal standardization in staff hiring and firing arrangements and regular participation in the planning and decision making process by different levels of staff and target groups for successful implementation of programs.

An Executive Committee (EC) that is elected by a general body of sixteen members governs NUF.

Implementation Strategy

1. Staff Induction Package:

Include the organizational culture principles in the staff induction package to ensure all new employees are aware of and understand these values from the outset.

2. Periodic Refreshers:

Conduct regular refresher sessions to reinforce the principles and ensure ongoing commitment to the organizational culture.

3. Yearly ‘Champion’ of Organizational Culture Excellence:

Announce a yearly ‘Champion’ of organizational culture excellence to recognize and reward employees who exemplify these values.

4. Organization-Wide Orientation:

Conduct orientation sessions across the organization to consistently communicate and instill the organizational culture at all levels.

Target Communities

The target communities of the organization are the poor women, youth and children representing landless and resource-poor families. A significant number of these women are single income-earners for the family. Keeping relevance to its vision and mission NUF works for people in general to build a better tomorrow, giving its main thrust on the poorest of the poor, the disadvantaged and marginalized people who include:
