Capacity Development

NUF Vocational Training Center: This center has been providing a range of vocational training courses recognized by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) since 2013. Its primary aim is to equip young individuals with technical skills and financial knowledge essential for sustainable livelihoods. It has its own campus in office Campus, equipped with all the necessary support. The center focuses on imparting skills highly demanded in the job market, such as Computer Office Application, Dress Making & Tailoring, Beautification and Block-Batik. The organization actively encourages self-employment and provides support beyond training. NUF is here to assist the trainees in securing suitable employment or offering loans to start their own businesses. NUF wishes the potential trainees to feel confident about their career prospects and the opportunities that await them. Maintenance tailored to market needs. Upon completion of the training, certified participants receive assistance in job placement, whether in wage-based employment or self-employment. The overall goal of this center is to enhance trainees’ and their families’ financial capacity and quality of life while fostering human dignity through skill development and employment opportunities.

Together Against SRHR and GBV

Nari Unnayan Foundation (NUF) works “Together Against SRHR and GBV” by empowering women, adolescents, and marginalized communities with knowledge, protection, and voice. NUF promotes comprehensive SRHR awareness, access to safe services, and informed decision-making for girls and young women, while simultaneously engaging communities, youth leaders, and local institutions to prevent and respond to Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Through capacity development, community mobilization, counseling support, and advocacy for rights and justice, NUF builds safer and more equitable spaces where women and girls can thrive free from violence and stigma.
